2018-03-03 Yet another DDOS. Website was down for a few minutes, mining should not be affected, but i have to restart my nodes.

Be Warned!

The attacks are coming from other p2pool Nodes, nodes which are fraudulent, they attract you with 0% fee, and in reality you pay around 20% fee.

The plan of those pools are to DDOS other pools like mine, so all you miners move to other pools, repeat until you end up on their pool, where they then leech of 20% (or more) of your profits.

You can check out their payout addresses using /payout_addr at the end of the URL. The VTC those pools cash in all end up on this wallet https://bitinfocharts.com/vertcoin/wallet/131861 if they haven't changed it after i released the new scanner. The following are a list of nodes which belong to that wallet.

I have updated my p2pool scanner to mark these fraudulent Pools. Check it out VTC Network1 and VTC Network2

Have a nice day. Happy Mining! :)

Monacoin pool is back up at http://mona.bokunoneko.com:2942

use the Hostname not the IP when connecting:
ccminer/vertminer -a lyra2v2 -o stratum+tcp://vtc.bokunoneko.com:9171 -u your_VTC_address_here -p x
do not use the numbers like this stratum+tcp://18.194.104.38:9171

Mining Information

Choose the pool according to your Ping to lower reject rates! It does not matter on which p2pool you mine.
For Miners in Europe

Point your miner to vtc.bokunoneko.com:9171 (first Vertcoin P2Pool network) if your hashrate is 100MH/s or above.

Point your miner to vtc.bokunoneko.com:9181 (second Vertcoin P2Pool network) if your hashrate is below 100MH/s, this will increase the frequency of your payouts.

For Miners in Canada

Point your miner to vtc-ca.bokunoneko.com:9171 (first Vertcoin P2Pool network) if your hashrate is 100MH/s or above.

Point your miner to vtc-ca.bokunoneko.com:9181 (second Vertcoin P2Pool network) if your hashrate is below 100MH/s, this will increase the frequency of your payouts.

For Miners in America

Point your miner to vtc-us1.bokunoneko.com:9171 (first Vertcoin P2Pool network) if your hashrate is 100MH/s or above.

Point your miner to vtc-us1.bokunoneko.com:9181 (second Vertcoin P2Pool network) if your hashrate is below 100MH/s, this will increase the frequency of your payouts.

Node Information

Welcome to the Dickgirl's VTC p2pool node!

This node is hosted on a 24/7 high-availability Intel Xeon server with a dedicated 1Gbit Internet line.
Happy Mining!

If you would like to contact me for any reason feel free to message me on the official VTC Discord server (https://discord.gg/PwuXNQN) - my nickname is Dickgirl

My recommended settings to mine, use --cuda-schedule sync, decreases CPU usage on my machine without affecting your Mh/s:

Also, best Lyra2V2 miner without dev fee i've found so far is ccMiner by Nanashi https://github.com/Nanashi-Meiyo-Meijin/ccminer/releases - next best miner is vertminer, last is the generic ccminer. If you find something better, tell me please :D

ccminer/vertminer -a lyra2v2 -o stratum+tcp://vtc.bokunoneko.com:9171 -u -p x

There is a nice read on how stuff works on p2pool like how things are being paid. (i don't understand it completely myself) https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/P2Pool
This page also uses about 10% of your CPU power while you are here to mine Monero to pay for server upkeep. As soon as you leave this page, the mining stops.
